Hello brothers,

First off, I wanted to say thanks to the great responses I have had from everyone. This has been an exciting time around our chapter, and we are all pumped for the weekend. We have also had some exciting updates since last time. Mr. Ray Galbreth, the Executive Director of Delta Chi, will be in attendance and presenting us a 25th Anniversary plaque. We are very excited for his attendance. Mr. Aaron Otto, the Reagent of Delta Chi Region IV, will also be in attendance, so this will truly be exciting times. And from all accounts, there will be many alumni returning to this event. I will be updating the list of names as I get them on our website.

And now for the homecoming day, we have a rough agenda of events going on:

9:00am - 1:00pm: Tailgating
-We are looking to have a few spots reserved for this, which may include a BBQ area, a bouncy house for children that may be attending, and our 2nd Annual Pie-a-Delta Chi Philanthropy Fundraiser
-Kick off for the Homecoming game is at 1:00pm

1:00pm - 4:00pm: Open House
-While the Homecoming game is going on, our chapter will have an Open House at the fraternity house. We will show everyone around and have different areas set up.

4:30pm: Campus Tour
-At this time, we will be hosting a walking campus tour provided by a student University Ambassador, which gives tours to visiting groups for the campus. We will show you what is new around campus, as well as the Greek Life area.

7:00pm - 9:00pm: 25th Anniversary Banquet
-The banquet will have a few prestigious speakers, a silent auction, buffet style dinner, and more. Many details have yet to be decided, but it will be a good event.
-If you have an item for the silent auction or questions, please contact Kyle Reithemeyer at reithemeyer007@missouristate.edu. He will heading the silent auction items area of the event

9:00pm (or whenever the banquet completes): Alumni Initiation
-We will be hosting an Alumni Initiation for those of you that have not gone through it at the end of the banquet. It is not a time consuming event.
-If you are interested in going through, please contact me and let me know. It will also cost $25

Other Notes:
-We are looking into providing a babysitting service for those of you that may be bring your children down for the weekend, and may want to take a break from them. Still working on the details, but if you are interested in using this service, please let me know about this as well.

-University Plaza will be having a block of rooms set aside for Missouri State's Homecoming at a discounted rate. We would like everyone to utilize this if you are looking for rooms together. If interested, please contact University Plaza at (417) 864-7333, and be sure to mention the Missouri State Homecoming block of rooms. Heather McGuigin is the Sales rep for this. The rate is $96/night.
